For the first Tuesday in the month we’ve taken some of our most popular dishes and combined them to give you a range of tasting sensations. We hope you enjoy the fusion of flavours which include the following from our “Flavours of Siam” menus
Nam Prick Ta Daeng (Red Chili Jam) • Blockolee Pad Khung (Broccoli & Fried shrimp in soy sauce) • Nua Daed Deaow Toht Nam Pra (Deep Fried Beef with Fish sauce) • Gheng Pha Moo (Jungle Curry with pork) • Khow Pad Kai (Fried rice with egg) • Khanm bualoy (Traditional Thai sweet dessert with Coconut Milk)
Something so beautiful it almost seems a shame to eat it. The Chicken Satay (ไก่สะเต๊ะ) at Laong’s Bistro on Jomtien 2nd Road. Tender chicken breast skewers with our traditional Thai style Satay and Sweet Cucumber sauces served with crunchy fresh vegetables. Perfect as an afternoon snack, starter or include it with your other choices from our excellent Flavours of Siam Thai menus.
Larb Moo Taut (ลาบหมูทอด) This wonderfully spicy dish is full of traditional larb flavours guaranteed to tantalise your taste buds. Deep fried spicy balls of pork served on a bed of crispy noodle with a side of fresh fruit and vegetables. We larb it!!
Such a simple dish and yet so tasty. (บล๊อคโคลี่ผัดกุ้ง) Tender-crisp broccoli with 8 large fresh prawns and our own garlic sauce combination. It’s light and healthy and made to make your mouth water! Our very own บล๊อคโคลี่ผัดกุ้ง (Broccoli Shrimp) Only at Laong’s Bistro on Jomtien2nd Road
I could eat this dish every day and never get fed up of it. Seabass, or “pla kappung” as the Thais call it must be one of, if not THE tastiest of fish available locally. We serve it a number of ways, this is Seabass in Red Curry Sauce (แกงเผ็ดปลากระพงทอดกรอบ) and it is absolute deliciousness on a plate.
A really tasty dish this one from our Flavours of Siam menu. Deep fried marinated beef with sweet fish sauce (เนื้อแดดเดียวทอดน้ำปลา). If you haven’t tried it yet then I recommend that you do. Our Flavours of Siam menu features over 50 traditional old style Thai dishes
You must give this one a try! Crispy fried soft shell crab (ปูนิ่มทอดกรอบราดซอสพะแนง) in a wonderfully creamy Panang sauce. Spice level is, as they say here “up to you”. Great with rice or if you’re Scottish, Chips! 5555
